Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Unfried learning app and website. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Who may use Unfried
You must be at least 14. If the law where you live requires permission from a parent or guardian at your age, you may use Unfried only with that permission. Do not use the service if local law does not allow you to do so.
Your account
Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure and use only your own account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Contact support promptly if you believe somebody else has accessed it.
The daily challenge
Unfried offers a daily topic, timed learning and a timed explanation. Session availability, scoring, Brain Points, streaks and leaderboard rules may change as the service develops. Timers and one-attempt limits are part of the experience and may continue while the app is in the background.
Your explanations
You keep ownership of explanations you create. You give us a limited licence to host, transmit, transcribe, evaluate and display feedback derived from them only as needed to operate, secure and improve Unfried. Do not submit material you do not have the right to use, or personal information you do not want processed.
Automated scores and feedback can be wrong and are provided for learning and entertainment, not as professional, medical, legal or academic certification advice.
Leaderboards and conduct
Your display name, rank and Brain Points may be visible to other users. Do not use a name or submit content that is abusive, hateful, sexual, threatening, deceptive, infringing, unlawful or intended to harass another person. Report an inappropriate leaderboard name through Support. We may remove content, rename, restrict or suspend accounts to protect users and the service.
Service providers
Unfried relies on Supabase, OpenAI, Resend, Apple, Google and Vercel for functions described in the Privacy Policy. Their services may also be governed by their own terms. You can use email/password instead of optional Apple or Google sign-in.
Availability and changes
Unfried is currently a pre-release service. Features may change, be interrupted or contain errors, and a particular topic, streak, rank or score is not guaranteed. We may update these terms and will identify the current version by its effective date.
Ending your account
You may stop using Unfried and delete your account in Settings. We may restrict or end access for serious or repeated misuse, security risk, legal requirements or conduct that harms users or the service. Account deletion and information handling are described in the Privacy Policy.
Responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Unfried is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, loss caused by events outside reasonable control, or decisions made in reliance on an automated score. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, while mandatory consumer protections where you live continue to apply.
